Workshop

Focused sessions examining the intersection of audio-visual engineering, science, and art.

  • Students will work individually or in a group of 2-3 to create video content and/or photos
  • Showcase videos, prints, and gifs in a gallery or installation
  • Students learn skills and workflows in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, macro photography, audio engineering (analog and digital), acoustics, and chemistry
  • Recommended for ages 8 and up
  • Incorporate relevant curriculum into the lesson plan
  • 1hr session to multiple extended sessions over a period of days or weeks

Workshop

STEAM education snuck amongst splattering paint

  • Ages 4 and up
  • For class sizes of 1-15
  • 1hr session to extended sessions over a period of days or weeks
  • Hands-on and student directed. A focus on creating and evaluating with the freedom to iterate
  • Incorporate relevant curriculum into the lesson plan
  • Take-away in the form of a sound painting
  • For longer workshops techniques such as masking and collaging can be incorporated
  • For a gallery or installation artwork can be framed, matted, and hung or incorporated into a sculpture or projection mapping environment  

Performance

Sound-reactive performance painting

  • Ideal for fundraising! Auction off paintings or take donations for an interactive experience
  • Attendees use performers sound to create their paintings
